Rami Kleinmann

Rami Kleinmann is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Canadian Friends of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (CFHU), which facilitates scientific and humanitarian partnerships. He takes a hands-on approach to philanthropic leadership, bringing together diverse stakeholders in pioneering partnerships that serve a shared purpose.

Rami has spearheaded a number of high-profile collaborations, including: partnerships that foster biomedical research between top Canadian and Israeli scientists. He conceptualized and led a campaign to raise $50 million for the creation of the Institute for Medical Research Israel-Canada (IMRIC).

Rami also leads the Genius 100 Visions for the Future: Inspired by Einstein, a global project to honor the life and legacy of Albert Einstein and to identify and inspire the next generation of brilliant minds on the planet.

Under his leadership, an estimated 100 million people were exposed to campaigns he helped launch, including the Virtual Marathon for Medical Research, and Searching for the Next Einstein contest that encouraged innovative thinkers to develop novel ideas for improving the world.

Rami travels worldwide to help institutions build effective strategic partnerships. He has been published in numerous publications, including the Jerusalem Post, Status Magazine and The Marker. His views on fundraising have received extensive coverage in Israeli business media, as well as top international financial publications, including the Wall Street Journal.
